Hello, Busy People Who Also Care About Climate Change!
My daughter was born during the hottest year in recorded history. Each year since has been hotter. Right after she was born, I read an article by an old climate activist who basically said, ‘It’s too late to do anything now,’ or something devastatingly similar. I remember thinking, You can’t tell moms that.
And climate change, of course, is not a switch with only one outcome. What we collectively do now determines what life will be like for our children when they grow up. The trick is knowing what to do.
As a new mom, I wished someone would tell me what meaningful action I could take while holding a job and being a parent. I wanted a newsletter for busy people who cared about climate change. Eventually, I decided to create that resource. And since I didn’t miraculously stop being busy, this newsletter comes out only once a month.
What you will get in each letter:
One action that you can take at home and get concrete results
And one action that you can take to change the systems
I am here for making small personal changes because it does matter—for example— that the company making the United States’ most popular toilet paper is clear-cutting old growth forests. (Spoiler: It’s Charmin.)
I am even more passionate about changing the systems so that all kids will have a more sustainable future.
Join me in this journey to reduce plastic waste, protect old growth forests, and do what we can to create the future we wish to see.
